The meeting of the ruling coalition is scheduled to resume today.
The alliance is preparing to finalize the division of the metropolis and sub-metropolis from the meeting scheduled to be held at 11 am today.
Coalition-affiliated Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist Party and JSP
Nepal have already shared the post of mayor in six metropolitan areas.
Even though the ruling coalition reached an agreement on the distribution of six metropolitan cities and nine sub-metropolitan cities, the leaders of the five-party alliance are yet to reach an agreement on Janakpur and Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan cities.
