Kathmandu, April 20
Dr. Tedros Adhanom Gabrias, the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO),
will arrive in Nepal tomorrow for a three-day official visit.
The Director-General will be accompanied by the Regional Director of the WHO’s Southeast Asia Regional Office, Dr. Mohammad Ali, during the visit, which will take place from April 21 to 23. Poonam Khetrapal and other WHO officials will also visit Nepal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Gabrias is scheduled to meet with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina during his visit to Nepal. He’ll also meet with Narayan Khadka and Khatiwada, the Minister of Health and Population.
