Kathmandu, February 23
Today is a parliamentary party meeting for the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSPA). The party’s central office in Baber Mahal has planned a meeting for 1 p.m.
The meeting, according to Leader Laxman Lal Karna, would cover current concerns such as US financial aid through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
MCC has claimed to be in favor of Nepal’s infrastructural development and people’s prosperity. The parliamentary party includes 13 members.
The actions, talks, and meetings of the political parties represented in the Federal Parliament have been viewed with attention since the MCC agreement was brought in the House for discussion.
