Nepal reinsurance company offers a 5 percent bonus share

Kathmandu, June 19

Nepal Reinsurance will distribute a 5% bonus share of the company’s earnings from the previous fiscal year 2077-78. The Board of Directors decided to distribute a 5% bonus share of the current paid-up capital and a 0.263 percent cash dividend for tax reasons at their meeting on Sunday.

The proposed bonus shares will be distributed if the Insurance Committee approves them and the company’s next annual general meeting passes them. In reinsurance, the company currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 11.65 billion. Investors received a 16.50 percent bonus share and a 2.50 percent cash dividend from the company's profit in the fiscal year 2076/77.
