Kathmandu, June 17
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the Nepal-United States’s
State Partnership Program (SPP) will be scrapped.
On Friday, Dahal told the media at the Bharatpur Airport said there was no other alternative than to dismiss issues like SPP.
“The MCC was passed with a 12-point interpretative declaration. But that is not going to
happen in the case of SPP. It will be scrapped, it must be,” he said.
President Dahal responded to a media query on the Leftist Alliance by saying that the current alliance would last until the federal elections.
