The stock market declined by 7.57 points

Kathmandu, June 17

The first transaction took place today, as per Nepse’s Friday trading schedule of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The stock market dropped 7.57 points to 1971.36 points when it closed at 1 p.m. As a result, stock trading will only be available six days a week. From Saturday through Thursday, from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m., trading will be closed.

On Friday, 15,163 trades totaled 2,355,001 shares of 220 different companies. On this day, a total of Rs. 736.31 million was transacted. On Friday, all categories except mutual funds had their prices fall. Hydropower investors have lost a majority of them.

On Friday, the value of Andhikhola MFI rose by 9.99 percent to Rs 596.70. CYC Nepal
microfinance increased by 4.02 percent in value. Lumbini General Insurance and Sanima Life Insurance have also seen considerable price increases. The biggest significant drop was 5.93 percent in River Falls Power, which has been trading since Thursday. It is now available for Rs 273. The price of Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydro has dropped by 4.64 percent.

On this particular day, Nepal Telecom has the greatest turnover.
