Kathmandu, June 2
Nepali Congress lawmaker Gagan Kumar Thapa has suggested that the program of reducing the trade deficit and increasing production was very good in the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 presented by the government in parliament on Sunday.
Thapa, speaking at today’s House of Representatives meeting on the budget, emphasized the importance of bringing all into the tax net.
“The budget should be implemented, there are good programs in it,” he said. “But the Ministry of Finance needs to call the ministries concerned to discuss the budget implementation.”
Thapa said that the budget programs were prepared as per the priorities of the ministries.
