In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma informed that necessary assistance would be provided for the operation of these industries as part of the general discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure under the budget for the coming fiscal year 2079/80 presented by Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma.

”If there is an agricultural tool factory and a sugar mill in Birgunj this year, I have a house in my name. Either I will pass that house in the name of the government or I will not. Said while taking part in the conversation.

He demanded that the construction of a sugar mill in Birgunj generate jobs for thousands of people in Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, and other districts, as well as agricultural tools for farmers through out the country. Despite the budget’s positive aspects, he also stated that implementation is difficult.

He also asked the government to focus on stopping the import of self-sufficient commodities such as cookies and soap, despite the fact that the government has agreed not to import ten things.
