Kathmandu, May 20
From Friday, the Foreign Employment Office in Kathmandu will issue new personal labor
permits online.
Personal labor permission is also issued online, according to the agency, with the goal of
offering services linked to foreign employment online.
From January 16, 2022, the office began delivering labor re-approval work, as well as
institutional labor approval online, beginning April 15, 2022.
The daily crowd of thousands at the office has been reduced as the service flow has been
improved. The office will exclusively deliver services through an online system, with the exception of new individual labor sanctions and labor sanctions through legalization, which will be handled entirely online.
The ministry has been directed, according to Ramesh Aryal, to deliver complaints-free service in a simple and uncomplicated manner utilizing current technologies.
According to the agency, out of the 167,000 foreign work permits allowed in the previous fiscal year, more than 500,000 labor licenses have been issued in the first ten months of the current fiscal year.
