Kathmandu, May 19
CPN (UML) has won the mayor and deputy mayor of Ghorahi sub-metropolis of Dang district.
UML candidate Narulal Chaudhary has been elected as the mayor and Huma DC as the deputy mayor.
Chaudhary has defeated the coalition candidate by 5360 votes. Chaudhary got 31728 votes
while Hemraj Sharma of the CPN (Maoist Center) got 26368 votes.
Similarly, UML candidate Huma DC has been elected as the deputy mayor. While DC got 30,403 votes, Bhup Bahadur Dangi of the Congress got 30,354 votes.
