Kathmandu, May 17
The Ninth National Games, scheduled for the last week of May in Gandaki, have been
postponed. The Ninth National Games were set to take place in Gandaki province from June 5 to 11, after being postponed for two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, with only 19 days till the competition begins, no committee has been formed, and
the 35-day deadline for tender invitation has yet to be met, according to a source. The Ninth National Games are being planned now, with a date selected 10 years ahead of the
tournament.
Only the Ninth National Games’ logo, mascot, and slogan have been made public. It was also determined that 38 games would be played.
