Kathmandu, May 17
CPN-UML candidate Wang Chhedar Lama has been elected as the chairman of the Bhotkhola rural municipality of Sankhuwasabha. Lama was elected with 1,803 votes. His nearest rival Chungdak Bhote of the CPN-Unified Socialist got 1,416 votes.
Similarly, UML candidate Sahana Lama has been elected as the Vice-Chairperson. She has got 1 thousand 791 votes.
Congress candidate Dukpa Thikepa Bhote got 1,536 votes. Earlier, Congress had won both the posts of chairman and vice-chairman of Bhotkhola.
