Kathmandu, May 15
CPN-UML mayoral candidate Bijay Subedi is currently 121 votes behind the candidate from the five-party ruling coalition Renu Dahal, who is also a member of the CPN (Maoist Center).
So far, 4,423 votes have been counted, with Dahal receiving 1,611 votes and Subedi receiving 1,541 votes.
Similarly, independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has received 537 votes.
In the contest for deputy mayor, NC candidate Chitrasen Adhikari leads with 1,775 votes, while RPP candidate Himal Gurung has 1,242 votes.
