Kathmandu, May 8
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been recommended by the government to summon a House session on May 18.
This decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting earlier on Sunday.
The government made the recommendation to discuss the budget as the government is due to introduce the national budget on May 29 as per the constitutional provisions.
Before introducing the national budget, it is customary to discuss and present the government’s plans and policies.
