Kathmandu, May 3
According to Indian media outlets, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Nepal on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti.
The Hindu, an Indian newspaper, reported that Prime Minister Modi is making preparations to visit the Himalayan nation before May 16.
This is going to be Modi’s first visit after he was re-elected as the PM of India in 2019.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has not made public any official opinion about Modi’s visit to Lumbini.
