Kathmandu, April 25
CPN-UML candidates for mayor and deputy mayor have filed candidacy papers in Pokhara
Metropolitan City.
On Monday, mayoral candidate Krishna Thapa and deputy mayoral candidate Manju Devi
Gurung filed their candidacies.
Mayoral candidate Thapa stated he felt lucky to be allowed to run for mayor of Pokhara after 25 years when seeking nomination.
Even though she did not want to step up, deputy mayoral candidate Manju Devi Gurung stated she was carrying out the party’s mission.
