Kathmandu, April 25
In Budhanilkantha Municipality-10, Kapan, Kathmandu, a husband set fire to his wife and killed her.
According to the Kapan police post, the police arrested Prabin Chaudhary, 42, of Siraha Lahan Municipality-7 on Sunday night on charges of murdering his wife Asmita Chaudhary, 30.
Chaudhary had set his wife on fire while she was sleeping by pouring turpentine oil on her
body.
The injured woman was rushed to Sankhu’s Shusma Memorial Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
