Keshav Sthapit and Sunita Dangol, who has been nominated for mayor of Kathmandu
Metropolitan City by the CPN-UML, have filed their candidacies.
On Monday, Dangol filed her candidacy at the Chief Election Officer’s office in Kathmandu.
This time, the UML has put forth the mayor who won the mayoral election in 2054 BS.
He is also a former Minister for Bagmati Pradesh’s Physical Resources and a Member of Parliament for Bagmati Pradesh.
Similarly, former Miss Newa Dangol has been nominated as Deputy Mayor by the UML.
