Kathmandu, April 25
On Monday, candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City from the main opposition party, the CPN-UML, filed their nominations for the upcoming local level elections.
The party has decided to run Rana Bahadur Chand and Kandkala Rana for the posts of mayor and deputy mayor, respectively, of the sub-metropolis.
Sudurpaschim Province’s Dhangadhi sub-metropolis is the province’s single sub-metropolis.
