Kathmandu, April 25
CPN-UML has decided to field the candidacy of Sagar Thapa as the mayor of Biratnagar
Metropolitan City.
UML leader Hikmat Karki informed that it has been decided to appoint Thapa as mayor, who is also the Chairman of Biratnagar Metropolitan City.
Similarly, UML has decided to field the candidacy of Shilpa Niraula Karki for the post of deputy mayor. She is the Vice-Chairman of the UML Municipal Committee.
