UML’s manifesto approved

Kathmandu, April 19

CPN (UML) has passed the draft manifesto for the upcoming local elections.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at the party chairman’s residence in Balkot on
Monday, said party Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung.

The party had formed a committee headed by Senior Vice-Chairman Ishwor Pokharel to
prepare the manifesto.

UML will make public its declaration and commitment letter at the center level on April 22.

Gurung said that the meeting would add 12 departments to the party, expand the advisory
council and add 51 members to the 278 liaison committee.
