On Thursday, Govinda Bandi, the new Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, took an oath of office and secrecy.
Bandi was appointed Minister by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
During an event on Thursday, President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered an oath of office and secrecy to Minister Bandi. Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun and Prime Minister Deuba have also attended the ceremony.
Likewise, the outgoing Minister Dilendra Badu has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Supplies, according to Purna Bahadur Khadkha, vice-president of the Nepali Congress.
