The Nepse continued to fall with another 46 points

Kathmandu, April 5

On Tuesday, the stock market index Nepse, which has been trending lower for the last few
days, also fell. The Nepse index fell 46.46 points to 2452.06 points today.

Except for the sub-indicator of the hotel and tourist group, all indications have gone negative on this day. The sub-index of this group has barely climbed by 0.5 percent today, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange.

Among the others, the most ideal group’s index has dropped by a maximum of 3.66 percent today, while the non-life insurance group’s index has dropped by 2.91 percent and the finance group’s index has dropped by 2.72 points.

According to Nepse, the hydropower group’s index fell by 2.1 percent, while the commerce and banking groups’ indexes fell by 1.86 percent and 1.15 percent, respectively.

The stock prices of two microfinance businesses, Nestho and Rastriya Utthan, have gone into a downhill slide on this day, whereas Emerging Nepal Limited has lost just 10% of its value.

Today’s turnover was Rs 2.67 billion, despite the market’s loss of more than 46 points.
