Nepal has once again sided with Ukraine during Russia’s month-long attack on the ukraine.
On Thursday night, Nepal voted in support of a UN General Assembly resolution on
humanitarian help presented by Ukraine and other nations.
A resolution on humanitarian relief in Ukraine was passed by a two-thirds majority vote in the UN General Assembly’s 11th emergency special session.
The resolution received 140 votes in favor and five votes against from the United Nations’ 193 members.
Russia, Syria, North Korea, Eritrea, and Belarus were among those that voted no. Thirty-eight nations, including India and China, Nepal’s two neighbors, withdrew.
