The Teachers Service Commission has agreed to change the teaching license certificate exam’s syllabus to include just objective questions. According to the commission, this ruling has been in effect since March 16.

Previously, the commission would ask 60% subjective and 40% objective questions. 50 objective questions will be asked at a rate of two points for each question from now on. As a result, the test will consist of 100 integers. To pass, you must get a score of 50.

Sudarshan Marhattha, Deputy Secretary of the Teachers Service Commission and Information Officer stated that it has been decided to ask solely objective questions in the secondary and lower secondary level teaching license examinations. ”The commission made this decision with the goal of making the preceding examination less difficult,” Marhattha told news channels.

Since 2004, the Teachers Service Commission has started conducting teacher licensing
examinations. There was formerly a system of teaching license examinations for elementary school teachers as well.

The commission has not made a decision on the pre-primary level while updating the syllabus for lower secondary and upper secondary level examinations. As for the explanation, Marhatha, the Commission’s Information Officer, stated, ”It has not been decided for the time being.”
