Kathmandu, March 2
The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed till Sunday.
The main opposition party CPN-UML lawmakers started chanting slogans as soon as the House of Representatives meeting started at 1 pm on Wednesday.
Despite their sloganeering, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota allowed Dilendra Prasad Badu,
Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, to present the National Information
Commission’s annual report. On behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Badu presented the annual report to the House.
However, as the UML protest did not go down, Speaker Sapkota postponed the meeting till
Sunday.
