The price of crude oil is rising as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia intensifies.
According to Corporation, Brent crude climbed 11% to an 11-year high on Tuesday as stated by Price.com.
On Tuesday, Brent crude touched a high of 109.6 dollars per barrel. That’s down from 1.2 on March 1, 2011. On that particular day, Brent crude was trading at 110.4 dollars a barrel.
As other countries impose sanctions against Russia, the war is expected to damage the supply chain of crude oil and gas exports from Russia.
