Kathmandu, February 23
Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that a
conspiracy is being hatched to collapse the alliance and overthrow the government.
Prachanda said that efforts were underway to undermine recent political changes, dismantle the coalition, and overthrow the government after the party’s Bagmati Province Committee had its second plenary meeting in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
He also clarified that on Wednesday morning, he met with the home minister, not the Prime
Minister.
Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan had discussed issues, including the US grant Millennium
Challenge Corporation (MCC), with Prachanda this morning.
