The Nepse index dropped by a significant amount

Kathmandu, February 23

The Nepse index, which tracks stock turnover, is down double digits. The Nepse index fell 15.5 points to 2720.43 points on Wednesday. The Sensitive Index, which tracks Class A company trading activity, fell 5.22 points as well.

In comparison to Tuesday, the number of transactions has also fallen. During the day, a total of 62,47,774 shares of 228 firms were traded in 48,911 transactions. The amount of the transaction has been halted at Rs 3.13 billion.

The hydropower group has expanded as the market as a whole has declined. Despite the market collapse, Dibyashwori Hydropower and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower have experienced a positive circuit in their share prices. Both firms’ stock prices increased by 10% as a result of the buying pressure.
