Kathmandu, February 23

The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has urged that all of its lawmakers attend Thursday’s House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.

NC Parliamentary Party Whip Pushpa Bhusal said a notice was issued and circulated among all NC parliamentarians to attend the HoR meeting.

On Sunday, the NC tabled the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact, a US grant, in the House of Representatives.

The House of Representatives will meet on Thursday as a result of the government’s decision.
