Nepal Bar Association has scheduled an election to be held on April 2. Today is the first day of the election process for the new leadership. The election process for the Bar Association will begin today at 4 p.m., according to the Election Committee, with the publication of the voter’s list. The central leadership, which includes 1 chairman, 8 vice-chairpersons, 1 general secretary, 1 treasurer, and 14 members, will be chosen on the April 2 election, according to the committee.
On Tuesday, the bar will make the voter list public. Candidates’ nominations must be recorded by the 7th of March, according to the schedule. After that, a publicity period of more than three weeks has been set. On April 2, voters will go to 35 polling places across the country to cast their ballots. Barr has also set up a polling place.
As the current working committee of the Bar’s tenure comes to an end, elections are being held to pick new leadership.
