Kathmandu, February 21
Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel is holding meetings with the top leaders of the
ruling coalition.
On Monday afternoon, he had a meeting with Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra
Yadav.
A close source said that Poudel was going to have separate meetings with CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Senior leader Poudel will discuss the fate of the coalition and ratification of the US grant
Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) with the three leaders of the ruling parties, the source said.
Although Prachanda, Nepal, and Yadav have agreed to table the MCC in the parliament, they have said that they will vote against the agreement.
