Gateway Payment Services and two Indian enterprises have reached an agreement

Kathmandu, February 18

Unified Payment Interface Nepal (UPI) based on interconnectivity and mobile-first technology has been launched by Gateway Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with NPCI International and Manam Infotech in India.

Various banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers will now be able to operate an interconnected electronic payment network and make arrangements to instantly transfer money from India to any bank account or wallet account in Nepal via various payment service providers as a result of the agreement (such as Paytm, GooglePay, PhonePay).With the inauguration of the service, Indians may easily pay in Nepal by scanning the QR code, and Nepalese can pay in India by scanning the India-QR. After the initial phase of the services, the business has stated that all of NPCI’s services in India will be gradually launched over the next three months.

Chairman Kamal Nath Pradhan on behalf of the company, Chief Executive Officer Ritesh Shukla on behalf of NPCI International, a Reserve Bank of India-backed fintech company, and Director Nagababu Ramineni on behalf of Manam Infotech, an Indian fintech firm with extensive experience in digital banking and payment services, signed the agreement.
