The ruling coalition is holding a meeting even today to trash out differences on Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Top leaders of the coalition will hold a discussion at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 10 am. On Thursday, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba met with CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli. After the ruling coalition failed to reach an agreement on moving the MCC forward, Prime Minister Deuba arrived in Balkot to meet Oli.

Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is working to forward MCC in Parliament whereas Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Nepal are against the initiative. However, Maoist Chairman Prachanda said the coalition was his first priority.
