Kathmandu, January 25
The state of good governance in Nepal is similar to last year. According to the Corruption
Perceptions Index (CPI) recently released in Germany by Transparency International, an
international advocacy organization for corruption, Nepal ranks 117th with 33 points, the same as last year.
Nepal has got 33 points out of 100 this year. Nepal’s score was the same last year.
Nepal ranks 117th out of 180 countries. The situation in Nepal last year was similar.
Transparency International Nepal has said, ”The fact that Nepal’s score remained stable last year and this year can be taken as a sign that there has been no progress in controlling
corruption.”
