The Central Advisory Council of the CPN-UML has accused the coalition government of being too unresponsive to the issues of concern to the nation and the people.
Council President Amrit Kumar Bohara issued a statement on Tuesday criticizing the
government for failing to provide adequate corona vaccination to all organs of the state. He
accused the government of focusing on conspiracy against UML rather than providing relief to the people.
The statement said, “At this time, the country has a coalition government. It is more
unresponsive to the concerns of the nation and the people. Almost all the organs of the state are in disarray. The general public is forced to bear the brunt of inflation. Corona has not been vaccinated properly. There are things that are coming up in the vaccine. Even simple medicines like citamole in the name of medicine are not well received by the people. The government is focused on conspiring against the CPN (UML) rather than providing relief to the people. In such a situation, we need to be more politically and ideologically aware and active. We have to be more focused on strengthening the internal unity of the party by breaking the illusions spread by the opposition.”
