Kathmandu, December 27
On Sunday evening, a teen boy and a teen girl were discovered dead in unknown circumstances within 200 meters of each other at Juneli camp in Gauriganga municipality-3 of the Kailali district in Sudurpaschim.
Maya Ram Chaudhary (19), Bandhu Ram Chaudhary's son, and Sanju Chaudhary (16), Khusi Ram Chaudhary’s daughter, were discovered dead.
Sanju was discovered dead inside her home, according to DSP Bed Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office, while Maya Ram was discovered hanging from a tree some 200 meters away. The torso of the girl was draped in a sari.
“We are examining the case because the events were reported late yesterday,” a police official adds.
Locals have hoped that the police will solve the mystery soon, according to Gauriganga-3 ward chair Jagat Ram Chaudhary.
