The Nepali Congress will distribute certificates to the elected office bearers and central members from the 14th General Convention on Saturday. Secretary Keshav Rijal informed that there is a program to distribute certificates at the party’s central office Sanepa at 11 am on Saturday.
The Congress Central Office has issued notice to all the office bearers and members of the newly elected Central Working Committee to attend the certificate distribution program.
From the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, 13 office bearers including the president and 121 central members have been elected. As per the constitution, the remaining 33 members of the 167-member central working committee will be nominated. Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba’s party has won more than two-thirds of the seats in the elected Central Working Committee.
Among the office bearers are the chairperson, two deputy chairpersons, two general secretaries and eight joint general secretaries. The treasurer will be nominated from among the elected central members.
