Balewa, Nov 23 :
Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre), and Minister for Education, Devendra Poudel, has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Baglung constituency-2.
Poudel was elected HoR member for the second time, defeating Manju Sharma of CPN (UML) by 4,599 votes. Poudel received 24,779 votes this time. Earlier, in 2074 BS election, he had secured 28,827 votes.
