NC’s KC emerges victorious in Kathmandu-10

Kathmandu, Nov 23 :

Nepali Congress’ candidate, Rajendra Kumar KC, of House of Representatives (HoR) election from Kathmandu constituency no. 10 claimed victory by getting 14,458 votes. With this win, NC’s KC made hat-trick by winning the parliamentary election for three consecutive elections.
According to Returning Officer Phaneshwori Ghimire, KC defeated UML’s Himesh KC with the margin of 2,672 votes. However, formal announcement of the result is awaited.
UML’s KC has got 11,787 votes of the total 53,336 votes cast.
