RSP’s Parajuli elected in Kathmandu-7

Kathmandu, Nov 23 :

The Rastriya Swatantra Party’s candidate, Ganesh Parajuli, for House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu constituency no. 7 won by getting 8,743 votes, according to Returning Officer Usha Shrestha. The vote counting in the constituency was completed this morning.
Parajuli’s nearest rival Shyam Kumar Ghimire of CPN (UML) secured 8,600 votes while CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Manushi Yami Bhattarai got 6,063 votes, Shrestha added.
A total of 1,574 votes remained invalid in Kathmandu constituency no. 7.
