Speaker Agni Sapkota has emphasized the need to implement policies to minimize the effects of climate change.

On the occasion, of the International Sustainable Mountain Year 2022, during the discussion program held by the Ministry of Forests and Environment with parliamentarians in Kathmandu on Friday, Speaker Sapkota said that it is very challenging to implement the policies made in the country and emphasized that the policies to solve the climate change problem must be implemented. He also held the opinion that we should resolve to assimilate the education given by climate change.

Saying that due to climate change, the world has been hit one after the other, Speaker Sapkota held the view that to reduce its impact, we should understand the problem and find a way to solve it. He said that now he is carrying the responsibility of one of the three organs of the country, and he will fulfill this role by advancing the interests of the country and the people.

In the program, stating that climate change is showing various effects, the parliamentarians suggested that the world community should work hand in hand to reduce it.
