Student organizations close to the government staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on Thursday demanding the resignation of Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari.
They displayed cartoons at Maitighar in Kathmandu saying that people who are members of political parties should not hold important positions in the country.
They said that until Governor Adhikari resigns, the protest will continue in various stages. They have argued that the governor is the cause of the country’s economic problems and that his exit is mandatory.
