CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that due to too much trust in the coalition in the local elections, the expected results have not been achieved.

Speaking at the orientation program of the elected people’s representatives at the local level of the party held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Nepal said that because sang too many songs of alliance in the local elections, the results were not as expected.

Chairman Nepal, being a new party, complained that they did not dare to contest the elections in some places and that the agreement of synergy was not followed in some places.

He mentioned that 20 to 25 seats will be obtained proportionally in the upcoming elections and the capacity will also increase in direct elections.

Chairman Madhav claimed that CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli had rebelled under compulsion after running the party in a single-minded manner.
