The parliamentary special committee will discuss with Sharma on Thursday

The parliamentary special committee formed to investigate the then Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma is going to discuss it on Thursday.

Surendra Aryal, the committee secretary, said that two journalists who cover the admission of outsiders to the Ministry of Finance spoke with the committee at its meeting on Wednesday at Singha Durbar, and it was resolved to speak with Sharma on Thursday. There was also a discussion of extending the deadline by a few days because the committee’s 10-day formation period will conclude on Thursday, he said.

The committee has prepared a letter to the speaker asking for a seven-day extension of the deadline, citing a lack of time for the inquiry.
