The traffic service has been disrupted as the flood that came with last night’s rain washed away the road in places on the Melamchi-Helambu road section.
Balsit Khadka, a local, informed that the road built after last year’s flood in Chanoute, Helambu, has been damaged by the flood.
Similarly, Shyammani Chalise of Melamchi said that the road was also blocked in Dhungebazar in Helambu and Seemkhet in Melamchi.
Due to heavy rain last night, residents of Helambu’s Gyalthum and other areas were forced to stay outside their homes.
