Joint student organizations close to the government have put up black banners in Baluwatar demanding the resignation of Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.

In a protest, they put up a black banner in Baluwatar saying that a person who is a political
party member should not hold an important position in the state.

They have said that they will continue the protest until the governor officer resign.
Sudesh Parajuli, Chairman of CPN United Socialist Party affiliated ANNFSU, claimed that the
country’s economic index will deteriorate if the Adhikari remains in the Rashtra Bank.
He warned that if the governor did not resign, he would be removed from the joint student
