Twelve of the fourteen subcommittees created to plan the ninth national sports tournament, which will take place in the Gandaki province, have had their coordinators and secretaries selected.
In a press conference on Wednesday, the Ninth National Games Executive Committee
announced that the coordinators and secretaries of 12 subcommittees had been chosen.
(Rakhepa) Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising said that 12 subcommittees would soon have coordinators and secretaries in position. To make the ninth national sports tournament memorable, Ekendra Kunwar has been appointed as the coordinator of the ceremony sub-committee and Sharingan Niraula as the secretary. The disciplinary sub-committee coordinator is Pema Lama, the secretary is Narayan Raj Aryal, the health sub-committee coordinator is Dr. Buland Thapa, and the secretary is Dr. Gyanendra Bikram Shah. Ghising was notified of further infrastructure preparation activities.
He said that the procedure for getting the required supplies for the contest had also advanced. The 9th National Games will take place in several districts around the province of Gandaki from October 14 to October 20. The event will have 36 planned games.
