In Kathmandu, after 17 hours, the flow of sand released with gas stopped

The flow of sand along with gas released from Sant Kumar Lama’s house at Losetar in Jorpati has stopped after about 17 hours since 10 am on Tuesday.

Ward Chairman Narayan Subedi informed that the sand flow along with the gas that suddenly came out while digging a bore for water from Lama’s house located in Ward No. 5 of Gokarneshwar Municipality stopped at 3:30 am on Wednesday.

It closed at 3:15 p.m. Now the situation is normal. He informed that arrival in Losetar toll has been made easy. After the release of sand along with gas did not stop until night, the Nepali army team took control of the 50 meters around the area and prohibited entry.
Ward Chairman Subedi informed that now there is a hole of one square foot in the place where sand with gas came out.
