Liu Jianchao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), who is on a visit to Nepal, has called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Arriving in Baluwatar on Sunday afternoon, Liu Jianchao met with Prime Minister Deuba.
According to the PM’s private secretariat, bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting. The Chinese team arrived in Nepal on Sunday morning for a four-day visit.
During the visit, Jianchao is scheduled to hold talks with President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, and others.
